In 2023, I successfully completed my Cert 3 and 4 in fitness. I was so thrilled to become a personal trainer because I have a strong desire to make a positive impact on my community. My journey as a personal trainer was driven by my goal of promoting positive daily health habits and improving the overall mental well-being of individuals.

My passion for personal training began when I suffered a significant shoulder injury while playing rugby league. It was a tough journey to rebuild my shoulder strength, but seeing progress each week and feeling better mentally brought me great satisfaction.

What I love most about personal training is the chance to help others achieve their fitness goals, improve their overall health, and experience the positive impact of exercise on their lives.

Throughout the years, I have been involved in several sports, including soccer, basketball, and AFL. My main sport was rugby league, which I played for 7 years.

My specialties as a personal trainer include strength and conditioning, functional training, weight loss, flexibility and mobility training, and outdoor training.

I enjoy the dumbbell flat bench as it lets me control the weight in each hand and have full control of the movement, helping me get a mind muscle connection and limits the risk of injury.

Dumbbells - They are the most versatile bit of equipment.

My number one health or fitness tip

My top fitness tip is to make sure you train your core as it is essential for stability, balance, and posture. It improves functional movements such as a squat or bench press, it supports the lower back, enhances sports performance, and contributes to better breathing. Core strength is crucial for preventing injuries.
