Hi my name is Mike Howley and as your personal trainer I will help you feel good, look great and perform at your best. In your sessions you can expect energising workouts combined with lifestyle and nutrition advice.
I love working 1 on 1 and helping people become the best they can be, this is my passion and it’s what gets me up in the morning.
Progress involves discomfort both physical and mental. Knowing when to push and when to rest is key in safely moving forward.
I entered the health and fitness industry in 2004 as a remedial therapist, I combined this with personal training in 2006 giving me a good understanding of the body.
I started teaching Pilates in 2011 which gave me a more technical approach to core conditioning and injury prevention. In 2014 after years of experiencing the benefits of yoga for myself, I began Yoga instruction. This taught me the importance of addressing the mind just as much as the body and how to connect with people on a deeper level than fitness instruction alone.
