Hi my name is Vero, and I’ve always loved outdoor sports. I grew up doing laps in a pool and as a result I represented France in the swimming nationals. I then became a Ski Instructor and also a Dive Instructor, snow in the winter – water in the summer, idyllic wouldn’t you say.
I underwent major knee reconstructions after a nasty ski accident. Getting back on my feet was a long process and also fascinating at the same time as it gave me time to learn further about the ‘anatomy of exercise’. It was then I became a Personal Trainer and worked in Spain and other countries, for many years.
Moving to Australia I updated my PT qualification which allowed me to carry on my dream as a Personal Trainer and an Advanced Boxing Instructor here in Brisbane.
Sports, techniques, are just one side of fitness; what I really enjoy is human interaction, developing a great report with people, gaining trust, and being able to give support to achieve one’s personal goals. Getting stronger, losing weight, improving their cardio and resistance. Improving their health in general, or just have a good boxing session. I ensure that my sessions are fun and full of variety so clients stay motivated and achieve their desired results.
Working in the fitness industry has always been my passion and realized that the well-being of a person is a whole, it includes physical activities, mental positives and also nutrition. It is why I studied Dietetics & Nutrition cert 3 so I can provide nutritional advice. I am currently doing a Master in Herbal Medicine.
