What are my qualifications?
• Master Trainer (Australian Institute of Fitness NSW)
• Certificate IV in Fitness (Personal Trainer)
• Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instruction)
• Registered and Insured Fitness Professional
• Austswim Certified Swimming Instructor with Royal Life Saving Society
• Life Saving Instructor
• Senior First Aid

My interest in health and fitness began at a young age swim training every morning for 2 hours from the age of 7 years, competing in State Swimming Events numerous times. Over the last 10 years my studies and personal practice include yoga, pilates, weight training, aqua instruction, bushwalking, cycling, natural therapies, meditation and nutrition. I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle on all levels – mind (psychology), body (exercise, fitness and nutrition) and spirit (personal development and meditation).

Three years ago I embarked upon a lifestyle change replacing my former career as a qualified Teacher with the Department of Education to become a fitness specialist. I am committed to assisting others gain their highest fitness potential leading to a happier healthier lifestyle. My two main focus areas in fitness are ‘special needs’ clients including the disabled and those recovering from long-term sickness or accident and weight loss warriors (children in particular).

My philosophy regarding fitness is ‘being inactive is a higher health risk that being overweight’.
